Providing access to your Github repository

We're ready to get started on our collaboration! The first step is to give us access to your GitHub project. We've outlined some straightforward steps below to help you share access with us safely and easily.

Easy Steps to Grant Access:

  1. Sign Into GitHub: Head over to GitHub and log into your account.

  2. Find Your Project: Your project lives in a space called a "repository." Locate the repository for the project we're working on together. It’s possible there might be multiple, in which case you will need to do the next steps for each reposititory.

  3. Go to Settings: Once you're in your project, look for the "Settings" tab. It's usually at the top or found in a menu.

  4. Invite Us as a Collaborator: Inside Settings, there's a section for managing access or collaborators. Here, you can "Invite a collaborator" or "Add people." Enter Jake’s GitHub username jake-webbernet and send us the invite.
